- Shipped at least one AI/ML system into production at enterprise scale
- Comfortable in a customer room and in a Jupyter notebook in the same day
- Strong opinions, lightly held — about evals, RAG patterns, agent design
- Has watched a model fail in production and knows why
- Can explain what they built to a non-technical exec without losing rigour
